Elsa Mersereau Director Western Division : Lean Healthcare West
Elsa Mersereau is the newest member of our Lean Healthcare West team. She came to LHW after working as a Lean Coach at Exempla Healthcare, a large community hospital system in Denver, Colorado. Elsa previously worked at the University of Michigan Hospital and Health System applying Lean concepts and tools within their large academic health system. Her specific Lean expertise includes Surgical Services design, operations, implementation, and in Lean Healthcare education and mentoring.
Elsa received her Industrial Engineering (IE) degree from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Her IE background and manufacturing experience has provided her a unique perspective on the application of Lean manufacturing concepts to healthcare. Elsa’s professional journey has led her to Lean Healthcare West where we are very pleased to be able to offer her talents to our clients.
